These Terms of Service govern your use of ForensicGrants (forensicgrants.com), a grant discovery platform for forensic science agencies operated by an individual developer based in Washington state. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms.
ForensicGrants is intended for use by employees and representatives of government agencies, forensic science laboratories, medical examiner offices, law enforcement agencies, and related forensic science organizations in the United States.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account you represent that you have the authority to agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or your organization.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at privacy@forensicgrants.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not share your account with others or create accounts for the purpose of circumventing usage limits.
Grant pages, program pages and data tools are free to use without an account. The AI tools (Ask ForensicGrants and Grant Match) are part of the paid Pro plan; a free account includes a small one-time allowance of each. Pro includes a monthly AI usage allowance, and current prices are shown on the pricing page.
We reserve the right to change pricing, features, and tier limits with reasonable notice to registered users. We will notify you by email before making changes that materially affect your use of the platform.
Grant information on ForensicGrants is sourced from grants.gov and other federal sources and is updated regularly. However, grant programs change frequently — deadlines shift, eligibility requirements are amended, and funding amounts vary by cycle.
You are solely responsible for verifying all grant information directly with the administering agency before submitting any application. ForensicGrants is a discovery and research tool, not a substitute for reviewing official grant solicitations.
We make no warranty that the information on this platform is complete, accurate, or current. Reliance on ForensicGrants data without independent verification is at your own risk.
The Ask ForensicGrants assistant provides informational guidance based on the details you share about your agency and funding needs. Its responses are generated by an AI model and are intended to help you identify potentially relevant programs — they are not legal advice, financial advice, or a guarantee of eligibility or award.
Always verify eligibility requirements and application procedures directly with the administering agency. The matcher's recommendations may not reflect the most current solicitation requirements.
You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
The ForensicGrants platform, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by the operator and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Grant data sourced from grants.gov is in the public domain.
You retain ownership of any information you provide to the platform such as your agency profile details.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForensicGrants and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to missed grant deadlines, unsuccessful applications, or reliance on inaccurate information.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
ForensicGrants is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We will note the date of the last update at the top of this page. For significant changes we will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Washington state, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved in the courts of Washington state.
